ORIGINS: An Online Workshop for Educators

FACT: Educators are living in challenging times.

"Don't Say Gay" laws, book ban campaigns, and exclusionary policies are making it harder and harder to teach history fairly, equitably, and honestly.

How can Wisconsin teachers, professors, librarians, and other academic professionals ensure inclusive history can still be seen -- without facing career consequences?

David Duffield, teacher and founder of the Colorado LGBTQ History Project, is partnering with the Wisconsin LGBTQ History Project to present this FREE, interactive, online workshop for educators. Join this instructional session and learn how to create lesson plans that keep our heritage alive -- while networking and bonding with like-minded, supportive professionals.

Our workshop is the first step in creating a national movement for educational equity.
