April Training: A Brief History of the People Of Wausau

A Brief History of the People of Wausau

Presented by: Ben Clark, Archivist/Historian, Marathon County Historical Society

Marathon County was gifted with an abundance of resources from red granite to good soil, but perhaps the most important resource has been the generations of people who have lived here. Ben Clark will cover the history of these people and how they shaped the region, from early interactions between Native Americans tribes and Yankee Lumberjacks, to the German-speaking farmers, and more.
