Event Overview & Description: Are you feeling overwhelmed and disempowered? Are you ready to empower yourself through yoga and breath-work to create calm and cultivate mindfulness? Join women on a similar journey to connect within yourself and with others through the ancient practices of yoga and mindfulness to support your modern day living. Everyone has a unique response to stress, there is no “one size fits all” solution to managing it. This event offers you the opportunity to - Learn a variety of yoga and breathing strategies to add to our toolbox when you feel stressed to cultivate mindfulness and empower yourself. Experience mindful movements adapted to your needs.
What type of Yoga will you practice during this event? Viniyoga is a style of yoga that is adapted to support your physical and emotional needs throughout the various stages of life while linking your breath with your movement. When the breath and movement are infused into one, you not only feel the physical effects of the postures but the emotional and mental effects as well.
What can you expect from this event? We will begin with a short lecture. Then, experience a Yoga & Breathing practice together to learn supportive yoga techniques to empower yourself in mind and body. And end with a Q & A.
Teacher Bio: Karey Lynn Krampota, RYT-200 & Certified Viniyoga Teacher. Yoga came forth to Karey Lynn while she was in high school. Initially, when she unrolled and stepped foot onto her yoga mat, everything else around her was out of focus. After her first class, Karey Lynn’s focus was to learn more about yoga and become a teacher. She embraced classes, personal-practice, self-study, and training(s) to learn more. As time went on, the deeper benefits of yoga appeared. With a desire to share yoga with others, in 2019, Karey Lynn became certified to teach Viniyoga.
